Hello, I'm running Spectrum 10.2.0.0.245 on a Windows server. I need to get rid of all the Cisco VDC created during the discovery; I've found the UpgradeVDC.pl script provided on the support site. When I run it, the following error message is returned:

    D:\SPECTRUM>upgradevdc.pl
ERROR changing directory to /D/SPECTRUM/vnmsh at D:\SPECTRUM\UpgradeVDC.pl line 98.

    Anyone had the same issue?

    Thanks, kind regards

    Laurent

    Hi Laurent,

That script is meant for 10.2.1, not 10.2.0.  It removes the VDC containers but is reliant on 10.2.1 code changes that are not in 10.2.0. If you are looking to get rid of the VDC containers, you MUST upgrade.

    Hi Laurent,

Sounds good...I would suggest waiting until we release the bi monthly rollup patch for 10.2.3 ( Spectrum_10.02.03.BMP_10.2.301)  as it contains all of the fixes from the current 10.2.3 PTF patches.  It is due out soon.

Once that's released open a support case to obtain it.  When you are ready to install, on each install I would upgrade to 10.2.3, stop processd, install the Spectrum_10.02.03.BMP_10.2.301 patch, and then start processd and your SpectroSERVER/OC.

    Cheers!
