  • 1.  Unformatted error message from layer 7

    Hi,

     

    I am working on a layer 7 rest endpoint . i get the response from backend service if i send correct request parameters. 

     

    When i try to send invalid request to test the error coming from backend . i get something like this :

    xxmlversion1.8errorerrormessagedatanotfounderrormessageerror

     

    when i tested the backed service , the error is well formated xml message.

    Hi Swathi,

     

    Could you provide another sample of the response to the Gateway? Perhaps a snippet from the log vs what you expect to see or what you are receiving from the backend directly.

    Hi Joe,

     

    This issue has been resolved . we had a global policy in which we were using reg expressions for responses to remove "</" and all the other tags. it was a bug in that policy.
