I have an unprotected root domain xyz.abc.com. When I hit xyz.abc.com,  it should redirect to xyz.abc.com/home.html.

I cannot use webserver to perform this redirect and want single sign-on to perform the redirection.

Is this something that can be achieved even when the domain is unprotected?

    Thanks!

This is not possible currently. The way the product is designed to action something actionable only on protected content.

On unprotected content, OR content that is Ignored; the current design is to do nothing.

You may choose to raise an enhancement OR ideation to have such a feature; and most probably it'd be at the WA end only. But I don't see the value proposition that we achieve.

What is the reason why you cannot use the WebServer to do this OOB WebServer functionality.

One possible workaround to get this working is , to make the resource protected, but then protect it with a “Anonymous Auth Scheme”.

Then create the OnAccessAccept redirect rule and associate with the “WebAgent-OnAccept-Redirect” response to redirect it to the desired resource.
