    When the user modify the tasks and try to save , the changes doesn't reflect when opened next time.

    For eg.

    1 .user save the plan by changing the task 5

    Milestone = yes

    Duration = 0 days

    2..opening after saving. The value again rolled back to “NO” and 1 day.

    Please find the attached file for screen shot.

    Kindly share the feedback if any

    Hi Asha,

    Can you have them try the below steps to make the task a milestone? If the user manually enters 0 as the duration which it seems like above, this can later change the milestone into a task. (Excerpt from: Microsoft Project (MSP) Task Integration with CA PPM - CA PPM - 15.4 - CA Technologies Documentation  below)

    1. Open the Task Information box.
    2. Click on the Advanced tab.
    3. Click in the Mark task as milestone box.
    4. Do not enter a zero value into the Duration box.

    If you do and at some time in the future another value is placed in the duration field, the milestone will convert into a task.

    Let me know if this doesn't help.

    Regards,

    Kristin

    Hi Asha,

    I think we'll need to look at this one via a support case so we can look at the project, XML, and also settings on the workstation, as so far, I can't reproduce. Some things that can make a difference are what Microsoft Project update is installed on the workstation (is it the latest supported one listed at How do Microsoft Project monthly patches impact CA - CA Knowledge), do the MSP settings for the project match that on the required list How to Configure Default Settings in Microsoft Pro - CA Knowledge ), and some other options, but if those are okay, then this may require more investigation via a case.

    Regards,

    Kristin
