Is it possible to modify the NoteID of any Note, the only option I see is to change in SQL but not sure how feasible this is.

can you provide a use case of why you would want to change the NoteID?

this is an internal ID used by the application.

say suppose alarms are being handled by command center and there are 12 notes denoting action taken by them for each alarm.

If my understanding is correct the note_ID is allocated by some internal process, privy to application
    Consider attached screenshot
Here the command center will like to see that Mail Sent as Note ID 1 rather than 47 this would place the first three steps that they take in order.
Also, it becomes easier for them to follow the laid process.

So changing the ID field is not support and we could not tell you what problems it might cause.

I would suggest instead the name of the note you use a numbering system such as:

    01_

    02_

    03_

etc and then sorting on the name field would provide you what you are looking for while still being supported.

It seems the suggestion doesn't work.

Sorry that did not help you.

The only supported solution would be to open an ER to have this ability added.
