  • 1.  I am trying to give execute permission on a specific JOBP.

    When I assign the user and check the appropriate authorization boxes I get an error saying I need to have the Write permission on my account or a group I am a member of.  My account has all authorizations checked and I am a member of a group with all authorizations checked.  What more do I need?

    if you want to to yourself a favour then do not grant authorizations on object level.

    I would strongly suggest assigining rights per user/user group.

    Thanks for the advice.  I was looking for a way to allow developers to execute jobs we create for them and this seemed like a good way.  I am happy to use your experience to avoid pain.
