I am getting the following error after upgrading to the CA PPM 15.4 from CA PPM 15.2.

Error occurred while processing domain attributes. Could not update attribute sr_cost_effort_status_key of object cop_prj_statusrpt to domain CSK_PRJ_Management

Any ideas?

The attribute sr_cost_effort_status_key must by synched between the PPM and DWH schema.

Follow the given article to sync the attribute it should help address the error.

Had a quick look at the sr_cost_effort_status_key attribute since this is OOTB object / attribute it can't be excluded from DWH database and reinstated that easy.

NOTE: When upgrading JasperSoft and advanced reporting content, the domain data that is imported can get corrupted sometimes.

Suggest you to ran Job 'Restore Domains' it restores out of the box domains to their original state and dynamically update these domains with the appropriate custom attributes/objects. You won't be loosing any custom attributes created on any OOTB domains.

Once this Job completed successfully rerun the Load DWH Job (Full Load) option.
