  • 1.  What are the uses of command  pdm_k_reindex?

    Hello!

    Please help me community. Can anyone tell me the uses of pdm_k_reindex and can we publish KD in sdm from this command.

    Hi, no this is not the intend of this tool.

     

    What will be the case where would you like to publish KB  documents using command line vs.  from the interface and follow an approval process?

    I want to publish Knowledge Documents form my pc to SDM Knowledge document tab using pdm_k_reindex command.

    This is not possible with pdm_k_reindex

    You can eventually use the SOAP Web Services in order to do that.

    The createDocument or modifyDocument methods will allow you to change the status of the document to publish and then you can use pdm_k_reindex to directly reindex you KB but please note that reindexing KB is resource intensive and you better schedule in non pick hours.
