  • 1.  Restrict User to Access only one VSE in a server

    Posted May 29, 2018 12:59 PM

    Hi,

I have had created two additional VSE's (VSE1 and VSE2) on the same server.

Now I want to give the user 'user1' to access only 'VSE1' and 'user2' to access only 'VSE2'. I tried in access control, but no luck.

    How can I do this?

    Thanks,

    John

    Hello John,

    Try to use Resources Groups:

Resource Groups - DevTest Solutions - 10.3 - CA Technologies Documentation

Resource groups are one or more DevTest Servers or VSEs. Define resource groups to determine the resources that a user or a project can access.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Heloisa,

I used the Resource Groups and followed the above documentation but still didn't work out...

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi John,

Could you open a support ticket for this?

We can do some testing and research on this for you.

    Thanks

    Heloisa
