  • 1.  Modify Search Bar

    Hello Community,

     

    I'm workin on a SDM 14.1 and a customer ask me to change the default option of the search bar that users have on the right upper side.

     

     

    They want that the default object to look to be Request.

     

    Is there a way to accomplish this?

    Hey Jason,

     

    This is actually a really simple modification. That search bar is known as the "Go Search" bar and the items on that list are known as "Go Resources". You can customize this for each role. In your case if you just want to change Incident to Request, just go into Administration -> Security and Role Management -> Role Management -> Role List -> Select a role -> Resources tab -> Go Resources sub tab. From here you can update the go resources on the drop down list and also set the new default. Give that a shot and let me know if thats what you were looking for.
