  • 1.  Changing a risk org to link with LDAP repository later?

If the risk organization was created with ArcotDB user repository, is it possible to modify it afterwards and link it with an Enterprise LDAP?

    Hi Awjit

At that time customer didn't have directory details but they wanted to see new org created and risk rules triggered during some tests and later associate the org with LDAP once its available. I had to create another test org for them for that, they didn't wanna use DEFAULTORG for testing hence the Q.

    Thanks

    Abhishek

Hi Abhishek, The LDAP org involves many database tables so even going some custom path of modifying the DB directly to change arcotDB organization to an LDAP will be a tedious path and may ultimately lead to DB corruption.

As per your last comment you had to create another arcotDB based organization to test a ruleset. You can later delete it and to completely remove it you will need to remove it directly from DB tables.

    thanks
