  • 1.  Performance Issue with IGNORE function

    Hi,

     

    I am using data maker for mainframe to mask files using IGNORE function with VSAM XREF. My VSAM XREF is having 8.5 million records and file to be masked has 15 million records. Masking the file takes more than 2 hours .Please suggest the ways to improve the performance?

    Abhinav,

     

    Please open up an issue via support.ca.com, please include the JCL proc that you used for the submission, as well as the Defintion nd MAP CSV used, the subset statements (if any), the report datasets (REPHLQ), the input parameters, which are part of the JCL procedure and the SYSOUT for all the job steps.
