[CServer.cpp:2121][ERROR][sm-Tunnel-00010] Bad security handshake attempt. Handshake error: 3154
[46405/139643368404736][Mon Jun 11 2018 11:27:21][CServer.cpp:2132][ERROR][sm-Tunnel-00050] Handshake error: Shared secret incorrect for this client

I rerun a smreghost to create a new Trusted Host and re create a new shared secret, but de error persist`s.

The agent`s resides on IBM Websphere 8.5.5 for Unix.

    Hi Andre,

was it working before? If so, what has changed recently on your linux machine?

For all non windows operating system (Linux, AIX and solaris ) the result of the gethostid() system function is used to encode the shared secret. Kindly check anything changed on your linux box (NIC , DNS or IP).

    Thanks,
    Sharan

Andre,  The above suggestions by Sharan are worth exploring. Occasionally, I have seen this happening. It's also possible that there's an additional/ older TrustedHost that could be interfering. Try and see if you can identify it from XPSExplorer (if you're familiar with the tool).
