Hi,

You may edit some values of the standard fields provided by CA Agile Central.  To manage, edit, or create fields, you must have subscription or workspace administrator permissions.

The link is more on create a new field, what I want is to add more values to the “State” drop-down. For example, I’d like to add following values to this drop-down:

-        Assigned to QA

-        QA approved

-        BF requested

-        BF approved

And change “Ready” to “Ready for Prod deployment”.

The Help Document is for managing the Fields on Work Items.  It is where you can update the State Field to add the values you would like to the Dropdown.  From the Help Document:

To manage, edit, or create fields, you must have subscription or workspace administrator permissions.

 

To access the Fields summary page, click any hyperlinked workspace or project name from the Workspaces & Projects summary page, and then select the Fields link from the sidebar, found at the left of the page.

You can then select the Artifact Type in the dropdown list at the top of the screen and then click the gear icon to the left of the State Field to Edit it.

Hi,

Were you trying to edit the State field or the Schedule State field. If you want to edit the State field you can follow the steps in the article Michael linked, but if you want to edit the Schedule State field there is some additional information needed.
