    Hi,

I'm investigating an error occurred to my customer's application.

Their application has many stalls and no errors can be found through Team Center.

After an investigating, I found that these stalls have no entry point (URL). So these stalls have been labeled to automatic Entry Points.

Customer asks me why CA APM doesn't show any error in Team Center(Experience View).

Is this normal or I can configure something to make this error(without entry point) to be displayed in Team Center?

    Thanks

    HI Gary,

What version they have? Stall should be represented as "Slow" on Experience View, it was added in 10.7

    https://docops.ca.com/ca-apm/10-7/en/using/monitor-performance-using-experience-view
    https://docops.ca.com/ca-apm/10-5/en/using/monitor-performance-using-experience-view

    in 10.5: Slow
Number of transactions that breached the Average Response Time alert threshold.

    10.7: Slow
Number of stalled and slow transactions. Transactions that breached the Average Response Time alert threshold.

    I hope this helps,

    Sergio

    Hi Sergio,

This application server "t2-rhel7-3-cloud-ntc-ap9" is backend application server and there are no context in frontend node. We can't find any experience card that include this server. So, I think this stall count will not appear in slow/error or problem/anomalies of experience card. According this situation how can I monitoring those stall on experience view?

    Thanks,

    Sam

Automatic Entry Points(AEP) are not visible in ATC, ATC monitors only Frontneds and Backends

I think you would need to convert manually these AEP as Frontends to be able to see stalls in the map
    https://docops.ca.com/ca-apm/10-7/en/implementing-agents/java-agent/advanced-instrumentation/probebuilder-directives#ProbeBuilderDirectives-ConvertEntryPointsCreatePBDstoConvertEntryPointstoFrontends

Also, make sure you see "Normal" type traces for the transactions, for map to process the stall it needs to have "Normal" traces, ‘Error/Stall’ type traces are not processed by map.

    Hi Sergio,

I'll try to set the Frontend marker.

    Thank you for your suggestion

Thanks Gary & Sam. From the Team Center menu structure it looks like you are using 10.7 - is that correct?

    Thanks
