  • 1.  CA EEM: LDAP Group Authentication

    Good day

     

    I need to configure a LDAP connection to authenticate against a group on a clients AD server.

     

    I have issues with the "LDAP Attribute Mapping".

     

    How do you configure the attributes/filters to accomplish this?

    Hi,

     

    Could you please clarify if this question is for Catalog/SDM/USS?

    Also, please provide further details about your request... Did you configure EEM with LDAP already? Can you see the users/groups in EEM from LDAP Server? Did you map the user attribute in EEM?

     

    Screenshots might be helpful as well.

    Hi Pablo

     

    We use EEM for SDM authentication.

     

    We have several LDAP connections to various clients for domain authentication.

     

    Setting up a EEM/LDAP connection to an OU is not a problem at all.

     

    Thing is, I need to query and AD group, and not an OU in the clients AD structure.

     

    I have screen shots attached in my attempt to authenticate against a group.
