  • 1.  Monitor if UIM works correctly

    Hi everyone,

    how do you make sure UIM works correctly?

     

    We had a problem that caused alarms not to be processed and not to be forwarded to SOI.

     

    We configured the processes Probe to be sure every process is running -> the alarm won't be shown on our SOI if UIM stopps sending alarms because of a failed (hub,nas,alarmenrichment) probe

    We set up a test alarm every moning and evening with the nexec probe. Our Team, which looks on the SOI console creates a ticket when the alarm wasn't send -> in worst case we have 12 hours befor we get an information that uim stopped working

     

    Is there another solution for this? Maybe with Spectrum?

    To help you to troubleshooting and figure out the root cause of this behavior at your environment, could you please open a CA Ticket, then we can help you further, with some logs, know the environment, etc.
