how do you make sure UIM works correctly?
We had a problem that caused alarms not to be processed and not to be forwarded to SOI.
We configured the processes Probe to be sure every process is running -> the alarm won't be shown on our SOI if UIM stopps sending alarms because of a failed (hub,nas,alarmenrichment) probe
We set up a test alarm every moning and evening with the nexec probe. Our Team, which looks on the SOI console creates a ticket when the alarm wasn't send -> in worst case we have 12 hours befor we get an information that uim stopped working
Is there another solution for this? Maybe with Spectrum?
