Hi,

I was trying to deploy SNMP controller DCD and mps_language_pack to one of relay HUB Robot from Primary HUB archive using admin console. It was taken 20+ min to complete deployment process. To reproduce this I repeated same and got same result. Is this timing is OK or it is too much. To speed up what need to do?

Using UIM 8.47, HUBs are connected in below architecture,

Primary HUB ==> Tunnel HUB ==> Relay HUB ==> Robot

ci_defn_pack to Primary hub
wasp_language_pack to UMP server

Are you running controller and hub 7.93 on all hubs .Performance should better with these versions

Here my concern is probe deployment from primary hub archive to relay hub robot taking long time in admin console.

Always we use local IM archive(archive of relay HUB) to deploy probes it is very much faster.

Admin console uses automated_deployment_engine probe for deploying packages and IM uses distsrv probe .

So mechanism is different 

Alternatively If you import the probes to local archive of the hub in Admin console the deployment might be faster

When I open local archive on relay hub I am getting below error, Do i need to deploy automated_deployment_engine probe probe on all relay and tunnel HUBs.

If you want to use Admin Console based archive in remote hub, automated_deployment_engine probe should be running.

As Franklin said, mps_language_pack package distribution (to any non-Primary HUB) is NOT required.

Also, DCD (device certification kit bundle package) should only be sent to snmpcollector box only.
