    Hello

I am trying to explore/understand Create, Execute and Process Routing Strategy assertion in API Gateway 9.2.

In Create Routing Strategy assertion, configure failover button is disabled permanently as shown:

Documentation from Create Routing Strategy Assertion - CA API Gateway - 9.3 - CA Technologies Documentation  suggest that this will be available only for custom failover (I understand I am referring 9.3 documentation though I am using 9.2), however did not see any relevant documentation on how to create custom failover.

    Has anyone used this feature?

    How to enable custom failover?

Any tips/response for the above questions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Muthu

    Muthu,

Custom failover capability was built as a way for our development teams to develop use case specific custom failover strategy. This option is not enabled until a custom strategy is installed.

    Thanks for your response.

Do we have some guidelines/documentation on how to build custom failover strategy and install the same.

    Thanks

    Muthu,

At this time only our development team has the capability to create and implement custom strategies.
