We have a category that has workflows attached to it but when you open the category in the Administration tab the workflows are not there.  When you click on Use Classic Workflow and the click the cancel button the workflows show up.  There are not supposed to be any workflows on this category.  How do I remove them?

No I am waiting for the customer to close all the change orders and then try again to remove the workflows.

Patsy, I don't think you need to have all those change orders closed and then proceed to remove all tasks of the category...you can remove the tasks associated with the category and those (open) change order's tasks are still fine.

From what you said here, the category does have some tasks and the reason you can't see them the usual way, I think, could be due to some form customization. Like detail_chgcat.htmpl, chgcat_wftpl_tab.htmpl. Thanks _Chi

    Hi PatsyW,

Did you make massive tasks load?

I had the same situation for an incomplete load with pdm_load, My solution, manually create a task associated with a category and then check which field was different to complete it. I don't remember which field was.

Do you still need assistance on this topic?

I was told that all the associated COs have to be closed in order to remove the workflow tasks.   I am waiting for the last of the Cos to be closed to test this theory.
