  • 1.  CA UIM 8.5.1 Historical alarms from UMP console

    Hi,

     

    We have upgraded our CA UIM from 8.47 to 8.5.1v and post which when we try to search for historical alarm from actions buttons on UMP console ,the historical alarms are in loading state and we are not able to see the older alarms in UMP.

     

    Please let us know where can be the isssue.
    Due to server space do we see this loading window?? or some other reason.

    How many rows are currently in the NAS_TRANSACTION_SUMMARY table in your UIM database?  There is a limit to the number of historic alarms that can be displayed from the UMP USM portlet.  Please check out the following Knowledge Document:

    Do an index rebuild for these tables:

    NAS_TRANSACTION_LOG
    NAS_TRANSACTION_SUMMARY

     

    For MS SQL it is

    They can be rebuilt via selecting the table > expand the tree > right click on Indexes > select Rebuild All.
    There will be a popup window that will list each index and its percentage of fragmentation.
    Click OK to run the rebuild and the window will automatically be closed when it is complete.
