From java code when tried to update one of the attribute , its not getting updated although this issue happen only once 

even checked CA directory logs , modify query was present at that time . 
Please help me with when such scenario happens .

Does your Java code execute the internal DXTOOL (E.g. dxmodify with correct flags i.e. -a for add OR -r replace).

Have you executed the DXTOOL "dxmodify" manually and checked if it works.

What is being referred as "only once"; are we stating it works 99% of the time, but failed one time?
