UAP-NAPA would like to know when CA is going to have a better "PPM Gantt" in CAPPM, a tool like MS-Project:

    - Automatic planning

    - Direct editing of data

    - Drag & Drop values

    Hi Christine,

I would recommend you to raise an idea or enhancement so product management can have a look at it.

Please use the link above to learn more about the new  innovation process

You can raise an Idea as suggested by Jose, but if you are expecting all the features that you get in Dedicated Scheduling Tools like OWB or MSP, then it might be a bit tough for PPM Gantt. It is something that comes with CA PPM to work on the project planning/scheduling but to make it ever better CA did provide the users the ability to include those couple of scheduler tools.

Having said that, adding up few more new features/enhancements to PPM Gantt, could be possible too.

Please note that the Customer innovation pointed out above is private and only open for approved voting members of customer organizations.

The old Ideation open for all community members is now gone for CA PPM and also removed from navigation.

An idea was raised and accepted in the Customer Innovation process to make the web scheduling app 'like/similar to MSP.'  It is yet to be adopted by Product Development and added to their backlog.  Meaning, it could still be rejected.

If accepted, the user stories/requirements need to be detailed as the idea's content itself is rather vague.  We all want  something that is good enough that our users will want to use it, to displace MSP.

Hopefully, the result will be something better than MSP, resulting from our user stories.

Stay tuned - I'm staying positive until further notice....   :-)
