Hi,
The customer asked to take an action to configure the user password complexity for DevTest Portal according to the customer's security team guide.
How can I configure the user password complexity for our DevTest Portal?
Thanks
Best Regards
Ji Yeon
you can set a password to however complex you want but you cannot set the complexity or password policies explicitly. Main question is - what is the concern with passwords?

It is also possible to connect DevTest to your LDAP and let LDAP control the users and passwords. DevTest has to provide the authorization, but your LDAP can provide the authentication. Look around in this section of DocOps: Access Control (ACL) - DevTest Solutions - 10.3 - CA Technologies Documentation
I was assuming the question was about internal db and passwords but you have a good point there J_NeSmith!
And this KB as well:

Thanks for all reply.
We should apply this request in their environment and we check that we apply the LDAP/LDAP, but maybe it will not be possible.
Actually, the customer cannot integrate with LDAP, so this is not the resolution I want.
Hi Ji Yeon,
What is the customer currently using for network authentication? DevTest also supports Active Directory.

Thanks for reply.
Yesterday, I visited the customer, but when I discussed for integrating some AD or LDAP, actually, it is impossible to integrate it.
So you suggestion is not applicable.
Hi all,
If we don't support this in current DevTest Portal, do we have a plan to support this?
Can you check it?
