  • 1.  CABI Reporting issue with CAPM 3.6

    Hello,

     

    We have recently upgraded CAPM from 3.1 to 3.6 and running into a problem when trying to launch any report via CABI, 

     

    Current version of CAPM: 3.6

    Current version of CABI: 6.3

     

    Screen shot is shown below:

     

    We have successfully added the CABI as a data source within CAPC:

     

    You can see the OOTB reports available under Reports à CABI reports via CAPC:

     

    However, there seems to be some issue with the browser compatibility as when we click on any report, the page is not getting displayed properly:

    As per the KB article mentioned below, there seems to be some issue with CABI 6.4.2 and CAPM 3.5 or older, but that is not the case for us.

     

    Jasper reporting for CAPM failed - CA Knowledge

    Darshan,

     

    I took a look into the case that the KB you referenced was based off of and as you say the problem is not identical to yours but it may be beneficial to check on a few things checked in the prior case.  Note: The case was for a Linux based CABI system.

     

    1. Is postgres running?

             ps -ef | grep postgres

     

    This is the line you are looking for:

     

    /opt/CA/SharedComponents/CA Business Intelligence/postgresql/bin/postgres -D postgresql/data

     

    2. What are the postgres data folder permissions.  If they are 777 you may wanna set them to 700

     

    ls -al "/opt/CA/SharedComponents/CA Business Intelligence/postgresql/"

    Hi Troy,

     

    This is a Windows CABI system. We still verified services and processes were running fine and even restarted Tomcat and Postgresql. After that, we are getting following error:

    Good afternoon friend!
    One doubts the report you are trying to generate and the Spectrum or CAPM report.

     

    In my environment, I was with some reports with a problem I did re-deploy both in Spectrum and CAPC.

     

    If I'm not mistaken, it should have a newer version for CABI, have you thought about updating?

    In the case of CAPM, you have to perform a reporting procedure on Jasper!
