  • 1.  SOI & Arcserve RHA compatibility

    Hi All,

    We are doing upgrades of SOI Manager from  3.3CUM2 to 4.2 versions. As per CA documentation 4.2 SOI version doesn't support Arcserver & switch over concepts.

     

    And our environment is multiple tier environment with primary & secondary SOI Managers, Connectors.

     

    Since Arcserv doesn't support switch over in 4.2 SOI versions, Do we have any other third party tools or mechanism that we can mitigate the problem temporarily until we move into Microsoft cluster environment. So that SOI Manager can be available on secondary in case of primary SOI is down.

     

    Any advice or help is highly appreciated.

    Hi Varun,

     

    Per the support case, only MS Cluster is supported in SOI 4.2 version.
