  • 1.  Admin Console Login Failure

    Hi all ,

     

    I am havong trouble loging to Admin console . It says incorrect password , although the password is correct and working on IM.

    Also , the primary hub log says "wrong password " ONLY.

    But when i go to the wasp logs , it says

    " not able to connect with database(cluster name) , Verify the server and instance names, check that no firewall is blocking UDP traffic to port 1434, and for SQL Server 2005 or later verify that the SQL Server Browser Service is running on the host

     

    So , i am not able to understand the error message in wasp .

    Is there any requirement for 1434 port as well?

    Or is it some other bug causing this ?

    Hello!

     

    Could you please try:

     

    open Infrastructure Manager
    click Security and then Change Password.
    Enter the same password as you are currently using as new and old, then try again.

    Hi Alex ,

     

    This didnt work , i have raised a case with CA and they have told me to open port 4334 for udm manager.

    Waiting for port opening.

    Can you please share the CA ticket number to take a look?

    Udm manager is used for inventory and topology and only used on UIM 8.1 until 8.3, noto UIM 8.4 or later.

    Hi Alex ,

     

    Ticket no. is 01178928.

    However , i would like to add that port 4334 was asked during webex and also i have been asked to open port 1433 although my DB is on port 50001 !!
