What exactly “Cloud ready” mean in CA Automic Workload Automation/ CA Automic Service Orchestration?

Are CA Automic Workload Automation/ CA Automic Service Orchestration available as PaaS or SaaS?

Also need some details on what does “Built on the Unique Cloud-First…” means?

Appreciate someone from Automic team clarify this.

    Hi,

    "Cloud Ready" means following:

    - You can run the CA Automic products in the cloud, whether public or private. We have customers who are doing that for some time now. Some specific capabilities such as the ability to securely connect through multiple networks (e.g. from cloud to on-premise) using our agent proxy, as well as multi-tenancy were specifically designed with Cloud  scenarios in mind.

    - The Automic Online Evaluation is a showcase of our Cloud Ready capabilities: a single instance of Automic running on Amazon AWS providing dedicated environments using Automic's multi-tenancy capabilities.

    - A SaaS offering of Automic is part of our current roadmap. This not only encompasses subscription based licensing, but also the next evolution of our backend platform components towards a container based architecture to better facilitate this.

I hope this answers your questions. Should you have further questions, feel free to contact the Automic PM team: automic-pm@ca.com
