    Hi There,

we have forgotten ssgconfig & root pwd for one of our cluster node. So it may required outage to reset pwd from bias.In order to perform this activity do we need it remove from base cluster and also remove it from load balancer to perform it? As far as I know its not dependent with either which mean we could go head and reboot and perform the rest pwd of the root. pls advice best practise ,just to let you know this node is configured for monitoring.

when you are trying to reset the password , if the LB tries to route traffic to that node then the requests will fail. Either you can move this node out of LB pool and let the other single node handle the traffic for time being or else carry on with password reset with out that as it should not take much time. It would depend on you, if you want absolutely no request to fail then move it out of LB pool and add it back once password is reset or carry on with password reset directly during the time when you less traffic.
