DX Application Performance Management

Hi Experts,

I just received a new requirement from customer. It's regarding the mail action configuration at CA APM team center. The customer is using CA APM 10.7, they want SMTP mail notification to be configured for Problems coming in Team Center similarly as we do for the alerts.

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Amit,

Aside from the standard SMTP Mail Action for alerts I don't think is possible to do the same for Team Center data like Problems etc. There is no functionality to do it in the product.

I was thinking whether it would be feasible to use an APM API to get the problem data and then issue your own SMTP command but there is no APM API which publishes that type of Team Center data.

Sorry I can't suggest anything else myself.

Maybe another community user who has wanted to do this and then decided to go down another track can add something.

Thanks for the clarification. 

I had conveyed the same to the customer.  As per the customer, the information in the team center(problems & Anomalies) are more valuable for them as part of RCA & performance analysis.

Can we raise it as an enhancement for the future release?
