  • 1.  Interfaces report

    Hi,

We are starting to migrate from eHealth to PM 3.5 and we are not being able to create an availability report with more than 15 Interfaces.

Once a month we send a report from eHealth with the availability per interface to an external supplier and we need to reproduce this report in PM.

We have already opened a Support ticket with this question but we have no luck.

How can we do this in PM?

    Example report:

    Interface name             Availability

    i1                                       100%

    i2                                       95%

    i3                                       75%

    i4                                       45%

    i5                                       35%

    ..... and 37 more

    Thanks,

    Facundo

    Hi Facundo,

Does the report allow you to have multiple pages, with 15 on each page?

You mentioned that you have a support ticket open. Do you have the ticket #?. I could check on it

    Regards,

    Tom Hughes

If you are dealing with an On-Demand report, you can increase the limit of 15 items, but there may be performance issues, if you set this too high

    <CAPC>:8181/pc/center/admin/debug/attrs

    OnDemand.MaxItemsSelected.Limit   default 15

If this is an "IM Customer View Chart - Table (Top)" view, using the "Interface" metric family, you should be able to display more items, on multiple pages

Notice the page is 1 of 5

    Facundo,

I think what would work best for you is using the CA Business Intelligence (CABI) and CA Performance Management (CAPM) integration.  CABI is able to do a TopN style report just like eHealth could.  Here is an example ( this is one of 4 pages )

Thanks Troy, this tip is very helpful too.

I will install Jasper reports (CA CABI) soon and test this solution.
