Under config folder added SIT, DEV & UAT in DevTest.
Hence corresponding 3 XML Configuration File (.config) are created along with that there are SIT.assets, DEV.assets & UAT.assets folders are auto created.
What are the difference between these?
If you have a config file for example UAT.config, then in Configs directory, the UAT.assets sub-directory contains all the config information for any assets that were created as part of defining steps, or defining a recording, or…
In attached printscreen where 2 assets are defined for UAT – i.e. one MQ QueueManager, and one MQ Queue – you will find 2 xml files inside the assets subdirectory which will contain the names (“MyQueue” in this generic example) and other configi information added like ports, etc…
You are not supposed to manually mess around with these XML files, only supported way to define configuration assets is through the Properties Editor, or directly from the step that you are defining inside a .tst or a .vsm
