Process for moving a file that we have on a file share on a network appliance to an FTP location on a server

We currently have a process where a SSIS package creates a file and places it on a public shared folder location which sits on a network storage device, an EMC Isilon.  From there we use MoveIT Central to pick up the file from the shared folder and FTP it onto a server.  The source is a shared folder, and the destination is in an FTP location.  We cant install an agent on the Isilon, but is there any way we could run a power shell script against it? How have others overcome pulling from a network storage device and FTP to a server?

    Hi,

If your able to access the Shared UNC path then you should be able to create a Filetransfer object in UC4.

The file transfer source can have any agent from which you can access the UNC path and the destination can be your FTP server

    Regards,

    G.
