  • 1.  Baselining in HA environment?

    Hi,

did anybody try baselining in a HA setup? So far it seems to me that baselining and the use of HA probe are mutualy exclusive. Baselining requires NAS with alarm forwarding on every HUB, which means, it the Primary HUB will switch, all the subsequent NAS points into a dead end.

Is there any solution for this?

Yes you are right, baselining is not compatible with robot failover or if robots are moved around from hub to hub.

It is possible to forward the baseline messages from the robot hubs to the primary and secondary hubs which potentially could solve your problem but you will need to make sure the definitions aren't duplicated.

    cheers

    Thank you Rowan.

One more thing I forgot to mention - Time Over Treshold requires alarm_enrichment and therefore nas on every involved hub, with suggestion nas should be configured with alarm forwarding. That makes switching the primary hub impossible, or requires manual reconfiguration afterwards.

It would be nice to know, if there is any concept, how to deal with this, at least in the future.
