CA UIM With Spectrum

    Hi Experts,

     

    We are Using CA UIM 8.5.1 or spectrum_gtw 8.66 and CA Spectrum 10.2.3.

     

    Integration is bidirectional.

     

    The integration between CA UIM and Spectrum established but we are not getting alarm in Spectrum as well as in UIM.

     

    Please find below Spectrum_gtw logs.

    Hi

    spectrumgtw 8.66 is not compatible with spectrum 10.2.3

     

    CA Spectrum and CA UIM Bidirectional Integration - CA Spectrum - 10.3 - CA Technologies Documentation 

     

    You can check with 8.65 of hotfix version in below link

    Hey Franklin,

     

    Currently spectrum_gtw 8.6.6 probe is running on primary hub, now you suggest us to use spectrum_gtw 8.65.

     

    Please let us know what are the steps to deploy spectrum_gtw 8.65 and what will do with spectrum_gtw 8.66.

    Hi

    You can delete spectrumgtw 8.66 and redeploy 8.65 (or hotfixversion from link) , do the configuration again and check

    Hello Franklin,

     

    We did the same as you suggested, now we are using Spectrum_gtw 8.65 of hotfix version.

     

    Also we are getting alarms of UIM in Spectrum One Click Console but we are not able to see any Spectrum alarm in USM, we are also able to see Spectrum Devices in UIM Inventory but there is no alarm from Spectrum to UIM.

     

    We select the bidirectional integration in Spectrum Web Console, using SpectrumGateway Integration.

    Try this.

    1. Deactivate spectrumgtw probe.
    2. Rename cache folder in spectrumgtw probe.
    3. Activate spectrumgtw probe.

    We did the same but there is no change !!

     

    The below new Cache directory is created after renaming older one.

    Hello Dharmender, you may have to do a full cleanup

     

    1. deactivate ems and rename the ems\db folder

    2. deactivate spectrumgtw and rename the spectrumgtw\cache folder

    3. deactivate the UIM Integration in Spectrum Oneclick Web Page

    4. recycle the Spectrum Oneclick Tomcat service

    5. activate ems

    6. activate spectrumgtw

    7. activate the UIM Integration in Spectrum Oneclick Web Page

    We Did the Same as you suggested Britta, but still issue is there.

     

    We are not getting spectrum alarms in UIM.

     

    Also we opened a case for the same, case id is 01204264 .

     

    Please check and let me know if any logs are required.

    The debug logs, ems.log and spectrumgtw.logs, had been uploaded on the case.

     

    Also we are waiting for support to join.

     

    Please update for the same.

    Hello Everyone,

     

    Please check installed versions in UIM

    1. Spectrumgtw-8.65hf6

    2. Spectrum UIM services - 8.6.5

    3. NAS-9.00

    4. ems - 10.17

    5. maintenance_mode-8.53 or above

     

     

    and Spectrum version 10.2.3 with following configuration

       1. Open OC administrator page,

       2.  Admnistrator->UIM Configuration

       3.  please check "SpectrumGateway Integration" is enabled. or Legacy integration.

     

     Stop spectrumgtw probe, clear cache folder and restart the probe.
