  • 1.  Robot not reflecting in IM post Nimsoft Agent installation on a server.

    I have installed Nimsoft agents on a windows server, but the server is not getting reflect in Infrastructure manager. What can be the solution for this issue?

    How do you installed?

    Can you please check the robot.cfg to see if all the informations about IP Address is ok?

    Its just robots, or secondary hubs?

    It is a Robot and not a hub server, I verified the IP.

    There is some problem with configuration. I have observed that the robot.cfg for this server is not as that of the other robots.

    upon startup the robot is supposed to report into the hub, most likely that process if failing.

     

    ensure the ports are open in both directions

    to test remote into hub and telnet <robot ip address>:48000 and then 48002

    then remote into robot and try it with the hub's IP address.

     

    At the problem robot:

    stop the nimsoft robot watcher service

    modify robot.cfg

    default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Nimsoft\robot

    set loglevel = 3

    save

    start the nimsoft robot watcher service

    check controller.log, default location same as above.

    we are facing new issue related to nimsoft

    Nimsoft robot watcher properly installed on windows/linux/aix servers and no firewall port issue its allowed bidirectionally between UIM and watcher installed server.
    its reflected for some time in Infrastructure manager but after sometime its gone from IM. 
    then we need to restart the services of nimsoft robot watcher then can only displayed in IM but after some time its not showing in IM 
    this issue happen again and again its cannot be resolved

    Issue was at firewall end, the issue is resolved now.
