    Hi Sreedevi,

Are other application metrics visible under the agent in the Investigator Metric Browser?

    Please post a screenshot.

    Thanks

    Hi Sreedevi,

Frontends (.war/.jsp files) are instrumented OOTB: The Metric Browser Tab - CA Application Performance Management - 10.7 - CA Technologies Documentation

The root cause could be a clamp or maybe instrumentation level or the Frontends for this app are not executing any class that is instrumented OOTB and need some custom tracer

    Clamp:

Please check APM Status Console for possible EM side clamp

Also check agent logs for this type of message "[WARN] [IntroscopeAgent.Agent] Absolute metric clamp of nnnnn reached, no more metrics can be created. Instrumentation on this application should be reduced." where nnnnn is the value of introscope.agent.metricClamp in the agent profile.

    Instrumentation level:

If you are currently using weblogic-typical.pbl try weblogic-full.pbl

    Hope that helps

If any other community users have suggestions please add

    Thanks,

1st. Check the autoprobe.log to ensure that there are no errors, since an error will cause only some instrumentation to be loaded.

2nd. Make sure there is activity on your application.

3rd. As Lynn identified, there are common Frontends that we watch for out of the box.  If your application uses something more abnormal to start transactions we may not be recognizing it, or may not be identifying it as a Frontend.

You can also upload the autoprobe log to autoprobe.net to see if there are extensions to monitor your application's Frontends.
