  • 1.  How to manually create archive packages

I have a monitor that requires a table file to be distributed when changes are made to indicate what needs to be checked on an server.  I need a way to distribute this file to servers once it has been changed.  I can make a package via infrastructure manager, but I need something that can be done via command line so that I can automatically create a new package whenever my table file changes.

Are there instructions for how to manually create a package that can be placed into the archive and distributed?

    Hi there,

there are no instructions on how to create packages via command line. The only thing I can think of would be to use the Rest API to run distsrv call backs or use the command line pu utility to do this.

Probe Calls - CA Unified Infrastructure Management Probes - CA Technologies Documentation

You can see the available call back from the distsrv when you open the probe utility via IM (mark the probe -> ctrl+p).

Other than that this would be an idea (enhancement) to the current product.

    Kind Regards,
