DX Unified Infrastructure Management

Dear All.

We are configuring CDM 6.30 for all our robots.. We have Memory Usage% and Physical Memory Usage% in "Advanced" tab.. What is the difference between these two and does it shows difference QOS value when we run performance report.. Also does CDM triggers alerts fro Physical Memory Usage or Memory Usage ?..

The calculation might vary based on the OS, here is  an example for Unix

Additionally, the monitoring probes have a metrics page providing info on each of the probe's metrics.

Memory Usage (%)     QOS_MEMORY_PERC_USAGE Percent    Total memory usage in percentage
Physical Memory (%) QOS_MEMORY_PHYSICAL_PERC Percent The size of the physical memory used on the system in percentage

Not mentioned but understood, physical equates to RAM, and in addition to physical RAM a system may also have virtual memory.
