We have enabled new user experience in 15.3 env. Here, when we go to admin -> general settings -> system options. It has a sections called API which shows fields as API URL and API doc URL. The API URL shown is not the NSA server and is nowhere specified.

I want to know how the API URL is getting populated and what impact it would have.

Does this URL mean all our requests to new user ex will go to this particular server or it is governed by the URL specified under action items which is a used as a link to nux

The API URL is for future where integration via API will be supported, all the new UX internally uses API url. This URL will use the http/https entry URL and append the end points.
