Hi,
I was installing CA Directory 12.6 and owing to some permission issue the installation although succeeded but with errors. Hence, tried uninstalling it and uninstallation was giving errors so we used the following utility post which installation was successful.
MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab
After this, deleted the services manually and deleted the installation folders followed by restart of the server
Post that, when we tried to install again, on clicking the dxsetup we got the error 1605 retrieving version string from installed CA directory 64-bit.
As part of the resolution present in CA docs I deleted the corresponding registry entries from HKEY_Local_Machine>>Software>>Computer Associates and also reset the environment variables but still getting the same error. Can someone assist.
