  • 1.  AWS integration with existing UIM or Spectrum

    Hi All,

    we are using UIM and monitoring AWS via AWS probe but  customer are asking  to monitor the application running inside AWS and we need to monitor log inside the machine. Anyone know how we can monitor without install agent on EC2.

    Currently those application alert send via email then we are integrating with ITSM , Can anyone know without email option can integrate or send alarm to UIM or spectrum?

    What's the metric you are pulling? and how is it triggering an alarm right now?

     

    You might consider publishing it as a custom metric to cloudwatch, from there the AWS probe can pick it up. There's a number of AWS published scripts for pushing data to cloudwatch, you may be able to modify them for your purposes here.
