  • 1.  Failed login issue in New User Experience

    In the new user experience, after clicking on link to open new user, sometimes it asks for login and password information. In the logs, it is showing below error:

     

    ERROR 2018-10-17 21:36:20,826 [http-nio-80-exec-997] niku.security (clarity:none:none:none) UserSessionCache.get:PMD error
    com.niku.union.persistence.PersistenceException: Error getting a DB connection

     

    ERROR 2018-10-17 21:36:20,950 [http-nio-80-exec-959] odf.object (clarity:admin:-1:PPM_REST_API) Failed to build cache for resource login
    com.niku.union.odf.exception.ODFException: java.sql.SQLException: Connection unavailable

    Hi Piyush,

     

    If the error you mentioned are the only errors you are getting then there is some issue with database connection broken.

    Hello, I had the same error yesterday. The first problem was related with the Time Slicing Job. After that we could not access to the application. Then I tried to restart the APP Service in the NSA Console and the service did not appeared. I conected to the APP server and I removed, added, deployed and started the service (APP) to resolved the issue.
    At this moment we have an open case in the CA Support to know was happened.
