    Dinesh,

In the above, I see a few problems.  The first is:

       3. CA Data Aggregator (Active) & CA Data Collector

You cannot have the DA and DC together in a fault tolerant environment as it completely defeats the purpose of having fault tolerance.  If the shared system goes down, it does not matter that you have a second DA, you will not collect data.

As for the second problem, you need a non-local, shared directory (between the two Data Aggregators).

There are some issues with your setup:

    1. Did you answer the DA FT question with YES for all components including CA PC? In fact, in FT setup, the installer  will add the proxy as the DA datasource.

    2. As Troy mentioned, you need to provide a shared directory outside a DA, could be on the proxy server.

Please review Fault Tolerance - CA Performance Management - 3.6 - CA Technologies Documentation  carefully.

The installer of Performance Center does not ask if you're configuring an FT environment, as it does the Data Aggregator's installer

Also "While i am adding data aggregator (Active)  as data source"

You would add the proxy, not either DA directly.

When you access the proxy at http://<proxyAddr>:8581 it will proxy the request to the running Data Aggregator.

Note that only one Data Aggregator should be started at a time.
I have seen this 404 error where both are running.

    Hi,

    I have a pre-production environment like this:

    Performance Center

    DAProxy server

    DAgg01

    DAgg02

    DRepo

/DASharedRepo in a clustered network drive, mounted on both Data Aggregators servers as their Data Home directory.

After installing every server (except any data collector so far), I wanted to add the DAProxy server as a data source to Performance Center, but I'm getting the same error as chodi01.

The installation guide is not clear enough and does not specify when or how should I start the Data Aggregator's services. How do I check if the services are correctly configured?
