  • 1.  CA PAM "Failed to start access page" error when accessing via ELB

    Hi,

     

    I encountered "failed to start access page" error when accessing via elastic load balancer (ELB) with PAM browser and encountered PAM client auto close after login. I presume the issue is related to the ELB as I am able to access directly without any issue. Can anyone advise?

    I remember the elastic load balancer(ELB) uses the sticky session that PAM doesn't support. So, if you are trying to use the ELB of the AWS, it will not be available. I also experienced the same error report before and the answer was not supported.

    Thanks for the advice. I was told the same but need a second opinion as it was working on version 2.8.3 but when I upgrade to 3.2.2 it stopped working. I hope CA will be able to provide an official doc that it is unsupported since there's quite a number of customers who are using PAM on AWS AMI.
