System requirements say 4 GB RAM

We are currently going over 10 GB - and swapping......

Do we need to purchase more memory?  Or is something really wrong?

I've noticed this in my V12.0.X system as well. It appears to be a memory leak. The WP's will eventually take all the available memory on the box and crash.

So, what did you do to resolve?

did you check mem usage with top?

is there anything consuming much mem e.g.  java?

depending from the start of the JAVA Agents and JWPs -- I usually limit it using java -jar -Xmx512M or java -jar -Xmx256M --

I would try without FTP and Peoplesoft agent and with only one JWP if there is an improvement

Java is often very mem-consuming...

Ill add what I've been seeing on V12.0.6:

where is the java?

According to a knowledge article there was a memory leak which should be fixed with 12.0.4:

High memory usage of WPs caused by a memory leak - CA Knowledge

8 GB memory for a WP is far too much. I would restart the affected WPs one by one.
