    Hi

    I have downloaded a java allappserver package for the latest version 10.7

    What is the difference between these legacy package and the other one.

     

    Windows-

    a) IntroscopeAgentFiles-Legacy-NoInstaller10.7.0.115allappserver.windows.zip

    b) IntroscopeAgentFiles-NoInstaller10.7.0.115allappserver.windows.zip

     

    Linux-

    a) IntroscopeAgentFiles-Legacy-NoInstaller10.7.0.115allappserver.unix.tar

    b) IntroscopeAgentFiles-NoInstaller10.7.0.115allappserver.unix.tar

    Hello Girish,

    Thank you for reaching out. Basically the legacy installer contains older statements for tracers and other files.

    Its only there as old applications may not handle the new changes. This was changed pre 10.0 not sure exactly when I think 9.1 or 9.5. So most likely the legacy will not be needed but we still make it available just in case.

     

    Please let me know if that answers your question. 

     

    Yes the legacy package became available in 9.1 after the agent design was changed to the current "new" mode.
