Service Virtualization

Hi All

When we create a new VS image from devtest workstation we get options like:

1.From Scratch

2.From WSDL

3.From WADL

4.From RAMl

5.From Swagger

6.From Request/Response Pair

7.By Recording etc.

So under which condition which options should be used.

I'm new to SV and pretty confused like which option to select

Also to answer your question - Depends on your use case. If you already have RRpairs or Swagger/Raml specs you would use the options you mentioned. 

First of all I would like to ask you to go thru some kind of formal training for SV. That should give you a good idea of how it works. 

Also go thru the documentation at http://docops.ca.com and search for Devtest that should take you to our latest 10.4 documentation. It contains tutorials on product usage.

What version of DevTest are you running?
