    Posted Nov 02, 2018 02:14 PM

    Hi Team,

When I am trying to execute the WAS:Uninstall Application with Valid inputs. It is showing an error like

But it has already Java 1.6 version installed on test server where agent is installed.

Can anyone help me on this issue to solve.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I am pretty sure that it is saying that legacy os agents use jre 1.6 and that is what you have - which the action doesn't support. I think you'll need to either install an updated agent. Or, if you're using the generic agent (which is short for the installer that is not specific for an operating system) then you might be able to:

    a. install an updated jre.

    b. point the symbolic link used by AgentInstallDir/jre/bin/NolioAgent (and some other dirs) to the updated jre. But this (NolioAgent being a symbolic link) is something you would only see if you were using the generic agent.

    Kind regards,
    Gregg

    Hello,

What platform are you looking to install the agent on?

    Hi Gregg,

Test server is of type HP-UX server.

we installed the nolio agent of HP-UX server earlier.

In that case the safest option might be to uninstall the current agent. Then install/update a more recent version of java/jre. Once that is complete reinstall the agent and make sure that it uses the updated jre (jre 7 or 8).
