  • 1.  QOS on Cisco Nexus

    Hello,

I have enabled QOS discovery on my Nexus (5K-7K-9K) but nothing is showing in the QOS Manager

The CISCO-CLASS-BASED-QOS MIB is supported on these devices, if I walk the MIB, I can retrieve the infos

All the Cisco Catalyst are fine

Did anyone managed to get Nexus devices within the QOS Manager? I saw there might be issue due to VRF being configured...is it still the case?

    Should I check other things?

    Thanks

    Kind regards

    Laurent

    Hi Laurent,

For a device to show up in QOS Manager the CISCO-CLASS-BASED-QOS MIB must be populated and if you do a locater search for the device ip address for application models, see if CiscoCBQoSApp model was created during device discovery.

If both of these are present and the device still does not show up in QOS Manager I would suggest to open a support issue to investigate further.

I also remember from the past that we do not support QOS Nested Policies so the QOS Policies cannot be nested.

    Best regards,
